Two weeks, or ten days

A week

Both seven-day routes begin in Cairo and include a Nile cruise; they differ in where they finish. The 7-Day Cairo, Nile Cruise & Hurghada ends on the Red Sea, which suits travellers who want a few slow days after the temples. The 7 Day Cairo, Alexandria and Nile Cruise heads north instead, adding the Mediterranean and its Greco-Roman past.

Four days, or two

Short does not have to mean rushed. The 4-Day Cairo Tour Package stays in and around the capital. The 4-Day Cairo & Luxor Tour Package pairs the pyramids with the temples of Upper Egypt, and the 4-Day Cairo, Alexandria & Luxor Tour adds the coast. For a stopover or a long weekend, the 2-day tours concentrate on a single region.

Where the prices start

The 4-Day Cairo Tour Package begins at $400 per person. Adding Upper Egypt lifts it: the 4-Day Cairo & Luxor Tour Package and the 4-Day Cairo, Alexandria & Luxor Tour both start at $1,200, and the seven-day routes with a Nile cruise at $1,500. Packages include a French-speaking private guide and private transport throughout.
