Itinerary

Day 01 :
Welcome to Luxor – East Bank Exploration

Embark the Radamis I before lunch and settle into your cabin. In the afternoon, begin with the Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious site ever built, dedicated to Amun-Re. Walk through the majestic Avenue of Ram-Headed Sphinxes, admire the towering pylons, and step into the breathtaking Hypostyle Hall, with 134 massive sandstone columns rising 20 meters high, each covered with intricate hieroglyphs. Discover sacred lakes, obelisks, and shrines that span 1,500 years of history.

Continue to the Luxor Temple, once linked to Karnak by the Sphinx Avenue. At sunset, this elegant temple glows with golden light, highlighting colossal statues of Ramses II, towering obelisks, and its grand courtyards. Parts of the Abu Haggag Mosque are still built into its walls, reflecting its continuous use through centuries.
Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner

Day 02 :
Luxor West Bank – Pharaohs’ Eternal Legacy | Sail to Esna

After breakfast, cross the Nile to the West Bank, home of the pharaohs’ eternal resting places. Enter the Valley of the Kings, where over 60 royal tombs are carved deep into desert cliffs. The tombs are decorated with vivid scenes from the Book of the Dead, guiding the pharaohs to the afterlife. Optional entry to Tutankhamun’s tomb offers a glimpse of the boy king’s resting place.

Next, visit the awe-inspiring Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. This terraced temple blends harmoniously into the cliffs and celebrates Egypt’s first female pharaoh. Its reliefs depict her divine birth and trading expeditions to the Land of Punt.

Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two 18-meter-high statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for 3,400 years. Ancient travelers once claimed the statues “sang” at dawn, creating one of the Nile’s great legends.

Return for lunch as the Radamis I sails through the Esna Lock, offering a glimpse of local river life—children waving from the banks, farmers tending the fields, and fishermen casting nets.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Optional: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Ride over Luxor’s temples and valleys.

Day 03 :
Temples of Horus & Sobek – From Edfu to Kom Ombo

Arrive in Edfu and ride by horse-drawn carriage to the grand Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in all of Egypt. Built during the Ptolemaic period, its walls tell the mythic battle between Horus and his uncle Seth. Admire the towering 36-meter-high pylon, massive courtyards, sacred chambers, and the inner sanctuary where the statue of Horus once stood.

Continue sailing to Kom Ombo, where the only twin temple in Egypt awaits. Perfectly symmetrical, one half is dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, symbol of fertility and protection, and the other to Horus the Elder, god of kingship. Carvings here are unique, showing ancient surgical instruments, medical texts, and an early calendar. Visit the Crocodile Museum, where dozens of mummified crocodiles are displayed, linking myth to reality.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 04 :
Aswan – Nubian Charm & Ancient Marvels

Wake up in Aswan, a city of beauty and culture. Visit the mighty High Dam, built in the 1960s to control the Nile’s floods and generate hydroelectric power. From the top, enjoy sweeping views of Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes.

Sail by motorboat to the magical Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis, goddess of love and magic. Relocated stone by stone to Agilkia Island after the flooding of the Nile, its elegant columns and sanctuaries are surrounded by sparkling waters, creating one of the most romantic sites in Egypt.

End the morning at the Unfinished Obelisk, lying in Aswan’s granite quarries. If completed, it would have been the largest obelisk ever erected, weighing over 1,000 tons. Its cracks reveal the secrets of ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques.

After lunch, relax on board or choose an optional felucca sailing trip on the Nile. In the evening, enjoy the optional Nubian Village Visit, where colorful houses, lively music, and warm hospitality reveal the unique culture of southern Egypt.
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 05 :
Farewell Aswan – Optional Abu Simbel Excursion

After breakfast, disembark in Aswan. For those seeking one final highlight, join the optional excursion to Abu Simbel Temples, one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring monuments. These colossal temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were carved directly into sandstone cliffs and aligned with the sun to illuminate the sanctuary twice a year. Relocated by UNESCO to save them from flooding, Abu Simbel stands as a symbol of devotion and ancient engineering brilliance.
